Castellans Folk Summer 2005

In our second Edition, we have improved a lot. In the meantime, the information pavilion was built as part of the Regionale2004. A real change for us. But the whole area and thus our festival has gained powerful!

Despite the bad weather we decided to let the "Kulturufer Wet Triangle" climb the festival. A good decision. There were once hundreds - some had traveled far - visitors come to celebrate with us. Thank you for that! Similarly, it is at this point a Riesenlob to the many volunteers, without whom the whole festival would be in question. We hope that it will be there again next year to make the Castellans summer folk will become a fixture among the small folk festival in 2006.

A big compliment also to our three (equally strong) bands "Finn" , "The Aberlours" and - as in the previous year - "In Search of a Rose" . It's a good sign when one is addressed as an organizer of many visitors on the bands and visitors each favored a different band ...!

Last but not least, a big thank-you to the Chingford Morrismen for staying with us again this year. They Took the long way from Waltham Abbey to Hörstel just to stay the evening with us and to perform worderful Their dances. Hope to see you again next year! Thank you all! We hope you enjoyed the evening: such as we did!
